Griffeys 89 Upper deck plummeted for the reasons I spoke of earlier. Just far too many made. Nowadays they only make a small amount of each card. they even serial number them. It's good and bad. Good because it guarantees value as long as the player remains a star performer. It's bad because ....let's say you want a Tom Brady rookie card. If you don't fork up over 1,000 bucks...you aren't getting one. atleast not the one that people desire anyways. Kinda hurts the average collector without a bunch of money to blow. I mean Brady is handsome...but cummon....a grand for a piece of cardboard with his picture on it....I'm bored.

I know everyone loves the pitcher that can bring the heat but Greg Maddox put together a decade of the most dominant pitching you'll ever see. Cy Youngs, golden gloves, different teams, didn't matter, the guy did everything but hit.
