![]() ![]() A ton to choose from the first week, several standouts and several people that deserve to be in the top 3. However as you know, not everyone will make the cut and the following three stood out at their respective positions for the week. ![]() ![]() Zaunbie [ Forward | 4gp | 3g | 13a | 16pts ] - [ Week Record | 3-0-1 ] 4 points per game average. Just jaw dropping numbers. 45 hits had everyone looking over their shoulder for sure. Zaunbie deserved it this week with his monster performance. I'm excited to see if he can keep up his blistering pace all season. ![]() ![]() BleedBlueBlood [ Defense | 1gp | 0g | 1a | 1pts ] --- [ Goalie | 5gp | 1.40gaa | .903% ] - [ Week Record | 4-2-0 ] It was hard for me not to make this guy the number 1 star this week. I think anytime a goaltender has less than 2 GAA in a week they deserve to be in this group, but this guy went well beyond that. He posted a .903 save percentage and put the league on notice. He is building a wall in the crease and the rest of the league is going to pay for it. ![]() ![]() Blaklash [ Defense | 4gp | 0g | 8a | 8pts ] - [ Week Record | 2-2-0 ] In only 4 games he lead all D men in points and had a very respectable 90.3 D rating. He was a big part of the success the Wings had this week and as he has been for many seasons, will continue to be steady back there on the blue line. ![]() |
