John Isner got into another marathon in the 2nd round of the French Open today.

Paul-Henri Mathieu (another frenchman) d. (10) John Isner 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 18-16

Time of the match 5H 41'

Isner had a 41-6 advantage in aces, but had 2.5 times the amount of unforced errors 98-40.

When this happened between Nicolas Mahut and Isner at Wimbledon, it really took a toll on both of their career for several months.

Isner stands 6'9" and has one of the most feared serves in the game. Unfortunately, his return game suffers and he tends to break very rarely. They also play on clay at the French Open so there is slightly more reaction time for his opponent to see the serve. He lost this match today out of fatigue as his serve was nearly 40 kph slower than usual in the 34th game of the 5th set.

This was definitely another classic match.

Wow, too funny that it happened to the same person. Ace to unforced errors is embarrassing

Sadly i don't know any of these names. I used to be hugely into tennis but in recent years i have lost interest. It seemed like a good one!
