I loved Stanton's Tweet "Alright, I'm PISSED OFF!!! Plain and simple"

Pretty sure he's going to force the Marlins hand now. If he hasn't already. I expect Baltimore to attempt to land him.

I said it in a joking manner (Man, I'm really bad at getting that across huh ). But no seriously, it's completely obvious that he isn't, and I mean't that basically the Jays should be returning to former glory.

I think its good to see them (bluejays) keep trying to be good!! I think its a good trade for them but remember Johnson was injured last year and Buehrle is just an average pitcher (maybe a little above). Reyes if motivated could be good but if memory serves me correct he had a down year. I know NY Met fans are happy to see Johnson out of their division. lol Good luck to Toronto!! They should really have a good lineup! (and they took on a lot of salary)

I heard it was in the neighborhood of 169 mil in salary....wow. I wonder if they'll end up trading some of these away? Just nice to see them finally spend some money

I'm finally glad to see the jays not be afraid of taking on salary. I wonder if this would of happened without Rogers/Bell being owners. They are filthy rich!

There's no reason for jays not to have a high salary in the MLB anymore.

I'd love to see them get back to the glory days of attendance with 50,000+ fans a game but I doubt that would happen.....unless they make the playoffs again.

Remember that Rogers is co-owner of the Leafs as well as the Jays now. I wouldn't be surprised if the Maple Leafs "good" name (coughmoneycough) is used to bankroll some baseball development in Toronto ASAP.

Great news for the jays fans. I've been watching more baseball and following the Jays. Nice to see them spend the money finally. I think last year was just a mess with injuries and the organization is making it up to the fans since the minor leaguers are a couple of years away from the big club
