Of course!!

Duct tape the iPad to the screen and voila!!!

I read somewhere that there is a way to convert the iBook format to PDF, other than that I don't know why they don't have an iBook store for Mac...

Apple does a lot of things extremely well, but after investing myself in using their products for the last year (Macbook Pro, iPad, iPod Touch) the main challenge for me is their manner of limiting access copyrighted material that I have already paid for.

How so?

You can read an iBook on your iPod / iPad / iPhone that you have paid for, simple syncing and voila!

Pay once and you can use it on any iDevice, pay for an app and you can install it on every Mac you have.

Reading it on a Mac is something that needs to be addressed for sure, but will never happen:

The kindle app is great, you don't even need a kindle! iPad app syncs with Mac desktop app do you can read books on the MacBook/ iMac etc...

I think I broke Notification Center...

I can't see anything now!

I get the odd email pushed through but nothing like what is supposed to show, all the default Apple Apps are supposed to alert me of new notifications but I am not getting anything! (not because nobody is emailing me either wise asses)

inbox shows 12 unread emails, Notification Center shows nothing

reminder test pings come up but Calendar events arent always popping up.

I have Mountain Lion running on both the iMac and MBA now and from Apple's description I should have to set it and forget it, iCloud does all the syncing for me etc... not so fast.

I quickly checked the online Apple forums and found I am not the only one, not an isolated issue means it will get patched quickly.

Please post up your thoughts on the MBP, I've read all the reviews on sites and mags but would rather hear what your initial impressions are.

I'm happy with my Air and don't foresee a MBP in the near future but ya never know
