XBS OSB steps down

It is with regret that we announce one of our Admins is stepping down from his position at XBS. OSB (Pete) has chosen to take a lesser role at XBS for various reasons. OSB played a large part in getting the site off the ground which started over a month before the site even opened it's doors.

Since then, Pete (OSB) has continued his efforts in helping XBox-Sports grow into a great community. Taking on the role of disciplinarian, he wasn't always perceived as a good guy even though he was only relaying the course of action all of the Admins agreed should be taken. While he might have rubbed people the wrong way, unintentionally, he was only doing what was best for the community. It's hard to put yourself out there as the "Bad guy" when it might mean losing friends or, in some cases, getting cussed out and called names on social networking sites (yes, that has happened more than once).

While he might have come across strong, he was always there to lend an ear or to respond to something tragic with kind thoughts/words.

Pete has done a great job at XBS and one that has helped the community to become what it is now. We, of course, wish him the best in his more relaxed role of "member" and "gamer". Pete has told us that he has every intention of sticking around and contributing to the community. We can only hope that is true. Pete is a great guy, a great family man, and that's what made him a great Admin.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Sincerely,

So Sad. A big thank you OSB for all the hard work you've done since the site began. It wouldn't be where it is today without you and your values. You will be missed as an Admin but you will always be on my friends list

Pete definitely took a lot of shit and handled it in a professional manner. He's a cornerstone of this community and for that I thank him. Glad he's sticking around though.
