Question NHL19 making your eyes burn?

Im not sure if anyone else experiences this or not, after playing a game or two of NHL19 my eyes are red and burning, I know its because the insanely bright white/blue ice (especially in the outdoor drop-in arena).

It probably also doesn't help that Im a goalie and the backgrounds not moving for me, the Ice is just a static bright background.

I use Flux for the PC and that helps, Im wondering if anyone has any experience with the yellow tint glasses or if those are snake oil.

Thanks!

My eyes get pretty red and burning as well. I also have a tendency to get really hungry...
I don't think the brightness of the screen has anything to do with it though

I do find the drop in games to be annoyingly bright though. Can you drop the brightness on the screen or try one of the different preset screen modes available?

I haven't tried this and I'm not an expert. Perhaps the preset 'sports' is good for sports game because it has everything preset for 'fast movement' and responsiveness but maybe less brightness? Never saw those yellow glasses but I'm pretty sure it could work fine as it's not as aggressive for the eye.

I like some brightness in most games but hockey isn't one of those lol.

Also don't forget to blink

Forgot to ask, do you have contact lenses? I had these before and couldn't play NHL with it. Not blinking enough, they'd become so dry...

Yeah red and itchy eyes can be caused by a strong Sativa. Do you suffer from cotton mouth too?

I've been having this issue as well, but for really any game I play. A buddy of mine bought us all Gunnar Optics for Christmas one year. Dug them out and they seem to help a bit. I think they're like $50 or so, but I've noticed that if my eyes hurt or burn and i put them on, it seems to help out. I can send you a link to their site on WhatsApp.

What kind of TV/monitor are you using?

Some types of display technology are a little more fatiguing on the eyes. Turning down the brightness, playing in a well-lit room, and generally taking a break from the screen now and then helps.
