The over protective big brother.

If she's used it at someone else's house, then I'm sure she already knows the kind of things you can do and I'd sure her friend explained some things about it to her.

My Fitness Coach

They had this game, or something similar, for the original XBox. I remember it was pretty comprehensive. My wife (girlfriend at the time) picked it up. I think it might be more than just the novelty of the balance board. Plus, at 30 bucks, if it sucks you're not out much.

Yep, that's it Jason. My Fitness Coach. It is definitely more of a workout than Wii Fit is. Wii Fit is more about yoga and having fun. I can't see you losing a lot of weight or getting in shape with it, but definitely with My Fitness Coach since they are all aerobic/strength training related exercises.

I made the plunge for Christmas, and I am very happy I did. My wife uses the Wii Fit almost every night, and my four year old plays the princess games. It's a great purchase for the casual gamer. Cheap, fun, and NOT my Xbox.

Not yet, it'll probably be another couple weeks or so before she buys one. She's looking at it being a birthday present to herself and her birthday is April 15th, so I'd be guessing she'd probably try and get one around then.

When I got back from my trip, my wife told me she had a surprise in the den. I was hoping for another woman but it was a Wii instead..lol

All kidding aside its a fun system. When I got wrestling she asked if I was getting it for the xbox or Wii and I started laughing.... the wii is fun but its no Xbox...

Yeah, I probably won't get any sports games for the Wii, except for Tennis and Tiger Woods once that extra sensor that you plug into the controller comes out. I heard it is almost perfect detection of the remote.
