Default Wii Netflix

This is old news but I forgot to post it. Those that have a Wii hooked up, and have a Netflix account can order a free disc much like the one you get for a PS3.

I don't have my Wii hooked up properly (no need), but I ordered the disc anyway because...why not?

Just thought I'd give the heads up. Not sure if this link will get you there, but just go to the "Instantly to your TV" link and then click on Wii.

Been using it for a few weeks now. It's awesome. I have instant netflix in 2 rooms in the house now.

Xbox is faster than the Wii but the Wii menu is better than the Xbox IMO. Worth the free disc!

My Wii is used more than ever now (insert inappropriate 'Stokley uses his Wii' joke here) :-)

The only downside I can see to this is since the Wii is connected via composite cables, you wouldn't be able to view any HD offerings. But, since most movies are watched on DVD aka standard definition, it won't be a huge deal for many.

Yeah, the Netflix HD offerings are few and far between so it's not a huge deal.

I wish I had mine hooked up so I could have Netflix streaming in my Living Room. I have it for the 360 and PS3. I'll use my PS3 for streaming. Not sure how different those menus are though. I just use the PS3 because I feel safer letting it run longer
