in that picture, is that move called the Tossed Salad or the Vertical 69?

I am not a fan of UFC , but the game does look pretty sweet..... as long as a booming voice does not come on and say "Finish Him"

No I mean in general. I could just see it now. Monday Night UFC, UFC Smackdown, where is Vince?? Dana with a wig? lol

I was referring to popularity. WWF when I was growing up was a household name.

the difference is this is real and unscripted.

the whole MMA/UFC thing has just blown up and it's pretty crazy if you ask me. Great for the sport!

According to the same source, Chris Rock, the preferred mitigation method is syrup.

LOL! No, not the Tossed Salad Man. I'm going to read! I missed his show the other night. He's been down in Tampa since Thursday night's show.

Sorry to throw some seriousness into the fun but that would be working for an armbar....

You might want to clarify that last statement. It's become as "popular" as WWE was years ago. Actually, it's the fastest growing sport around right now in regards to the fan base.

He could also be referring to Tough Enough, WWE's reality show. Not sure though. I do remember watching the first season of Tough Enough, those guys took a beating. It may be planned, but still only a fraction of athletes can do it. Not taking anything away from MMA as its obviously real competition.

Hopefully UFC and the other promotions can keep it fresh. I've never shelled out money for a PPV, but I have watched shows on Spike with some friends. Nothing beats grilling, beer and guys beating the crap out of each other.

Dana White just came out to present exclusives for this game. The main card contestants for UFC 92 were there as well.

Nogueira/Mir
Griffin/Evans?
Jackson/Silva

With much regret though, they hardly showed anything. It was basically LL Cool J singing while the MMA guys tried to dance. There was video playing in the background, but nothing new and the focus was on LL.

Frank Mir said last night that his character was going to be revealed today so I'm hoping there's more online somewhere. I was disappointed with what (little) they showed just now.
