I like how they make it sound optional, but something in the list of benefits will be so essential to our onl;ine gameplay that we will be indirectly forced to pay it.

I like that it offers discounts on DLC... that might help for some that buy all of the NHL boosts rather than taking the time to earn them. The membership might pay for itself just from that. Getting the full title as DLC a week or more before it hits shelves is also huge.

I get NHL, NCAA and Madden every year (at a minimum) so it might be a good deal for me, we'll just have to see. The NHL only guys may not.

I love the fact that you can download games the day they become available in stores!

the discount would be good on equipment and the like, sounds cool as long as it's not more than $40.00 per year

The ability to transfer paid content from current titles to future versions of said titles.
This would be great....pay for unlocked attributes, get legend card a week early, dominate on Day 1 when game comes out, transfer unlockables to next season, repeat.

Of course it says "ability", so I am sure it will be at a cost too. But if you pay say $30 for attributes, and they charge you $10 to transfer them over, could be worth it.
