![]() Haven't played the game yet, but use to love Tiger. I'll get it if a league is formed.

![]() I don't think there is any question we would be using normal swing (straight down then up for a straight shot).
There are so many options in this game, many of which can be minor tweaks, to make the game more or less difficult. The game is so solid, and we'll all be on essentially the same playing field, that there is no reason we can't find settings that will be appealing to the majority. |

![]() I voted for in depth, because I like the thought of having some tracking of stats for participants. I prefer a closed league slightly, but only to avoid ringers or surprises; we have enough good folks here at XBS that an open league wouldn't be an issue. I do like having a bit of flexibility on tournaments since I do travel quite a bit and have a tough schedule. If this league does indeed form I'll 100% sure pick this game up - just need to remember to grab some of the games I'm selling back next time I'm at the house (stuck at work right now).

![]() Since I am on my phone, I can't see the poll and not sure what "In depth" versus "Competitive" is but I think the team concept would be awesome. Conduct a draft of players and have a pair from one team compete versus a pair from another team. Initially just a couple nights a week with players signing up for the nights they are available. That way you wouldn't necessarily have to be available every week but you could establish rules to prevent lower skilled players not getting into the lineup. Is this being considered?

![]() I never thought of a team concept but that would be awesome, and then just the best total score wins that matchup? If we did decide to do something like this I would definitely be up for being a team captain.

We did several things for the Team League. It was 2 vs 2 (all Links 2004 would allow). And each night or week (I can't remember) was different game types. So one night might be Best Ball where the team takes turn using the best shot. Then it would be Skins. Off-hand because I'm thinking about other things, I don't remember all the modes we had. The problem is, it was all somewhat involved and required a scoreboard. It was a blast though. It was even fun having the other team in the same room talking. I remember teammates acting as caddies. "You might want to aim a little more to the left" ![]() I still remember how some games ended. XBoxJon one time had a killer shot from near the water, up 15 feet, to a wavy green. He had to make the shot and he did. Not sure the mode but that was the end of the game. I remember a chip shot that I made once. It was about 20 feet out and we absolutely needed it to either win or continue the game. I made it. But again, it's how a lot of us old-timers had met. We started out on XBox.com forums and then went to LeagueGaming where we had two modes going. We had a team league and a tournamant standings league. It's actually what got me playing games online and joining leagues. *EDIT* It also explains why we're so involved in the settings discussions. It's something we're all passionate about. ![]() Yeah, if we could recreate some of the Links 2004 magic with team play, that would be fantastic. Many many good memories playing that game with you guys.
