Bahahaha. I see what you did there. We definitely need more data. We could even roll this into a "Versus league" of sorts, where instead of a tournament there would be a season of using one team, with the option to change teams during the off-season. Can keep a solid rating system then, and then at the end of a season you could use the ratings to establish a 3 round tournament of sorts, with two separate divisions, A and B, as mentioned at the top of the post.

Again, just thoughts. Up to the important people on what they wanna do. I was just throwing out something cool we could implement quite easily. We don't need anything for stats except the final result and, for proofing purposes, who was home and who was away.
