He is a friend of Layhner and we allowed him in because he was having some trouble signing up prior to the deadline. As a result, we agreed to let him play being that it was a technical issue that prevented him from getting in under the wire. He will be making an introduction post shortly, we just wanted to get him all set on the forum and scoreboard before proceeding.

We had everything handled behind the scenes, but being that it is made public now, there is your answer.

Ah, ok cool! When I saw the name and no posts, my first thought was, are we now allowing bots to sign up and play?

We'll extend the deadline to draft day and make an exception here. We were unaware that people were still coming in to make it. We want to be inclusive and get as many as possible in here, so we'll try to accommodate.

We're currently trying to figure out which day will work out best for owners right now. For now we'll set a tentative deadline for this Sunday, but that could be extended too if we can't get everyone we need for the draft then.

I apologize for the confusion. We've been busy as of late, but that's no excuse for my lack of transparency lately, something which I said I would do a better job of promoting when I took this position. Hopefully this clears a few things up for everyone.

Slash......You...B........and Nexus have been working hard to get this season going and I for one really appreciate it. The other 60 or so guys most likely do as well.

Things come up on the site that occupy our time....(I recently WASTED some of my family time to deal with a situation....that will eventually stop/decrease with time)...it impacts what we can invest in the league....time we can invest in the group.

People may not realize but the behind the scenes crew has to manage all oddities.....if we want to keep the culture present that you all have created....we owe you that IMHO.

That impacts the greater group...

We know you guys are working on your own dime to make this league a different place....that is clearly evident in your post.....TY for that.

Peace

I for one am thankful for all of the time invested behind the scenes to make this league work. I know all too well the effort I put in running a curling league and coaching my son's soccer team. We do it for the love of our hobby, our kids, our friends, etc. Although I personally don't see what is going on behind the scenes to make things work, please know that I am appreciative. And I am sure others echo my sentiments.

As the others have said, we very much appreciate all the work that you guys do. As far as I'm concerned, you have no reason to apologize BL. You guys do a great job and the site is better off for it
