Tecmo Bowl Throwback

I remember even playing this in college with a few guys. We had about 8 guys in there watching this "lame-o" (by today's standards) game.

Okoye rules. Nothing better than being a Chiefs fan and getting to use Okoye for legitimate reasons.

I think once the nostalgia wears off, the game will get boring though. I haven't watched the video though so I'm just going by screen shots. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun early on but interest will quickly die out. I couldn't tell from the description if the leagues were online or not. That could be interesting. But only for a while in my opinion.

I don't know if I'll pick it up or not. Will take the wait and see approach.

*EDIT* All-Star baseball or whatever was near the top of my favorites as well. I think that's what it was called. The baseball game with the girls, ninjas possibly, etc.

Tecmo Bowl was before my time, but I did get years of enjoyment out of Tecmo Super Bowl. Gooood times....

Was just browsing around and saw this was out already. Played two seconds of the demo without knowing the controls. I think I'm done playing the game. Would prefer not to ruin the sweet sweet memories I have for this game.

that is good to know, too many times i play an old game and come away disappointed.

Thanks guys. I actually feel the same way. I do not want to ruin the memory of playing this game. I actually remember playing this game so much that I won the Super Bowl with every team. My favorite team to use was Chicago, Payton and Singletary were beasts!

+1. I don't like the game...at all. Then again I preferred Tecmo bowl to Super anyways.
