plotting through the iPhone pics takes too long, anyone have any Apps that they think are kick ass and want to get the word out about?

http://www.tsn.ca/feature/?id=15061

I wasn't really "wowed" by this app when it first dropped as The Score's app seemed a little better, but the more I use the TSN App the more I like it!

now if only they would allow you to select favorite teams (like The Score) so they appear on top of the sport's score board they would be all set.

I downloaded the TSN App, I really don't care for it much. Too me it looks like the exact same layout as Sports Tap. I much prefer The Score

If you want the best sports app, I suggest getting Sportacular. You set your favorite team and select if you want updates at the start of the game, change or score, start of period etc. I have mine set for change of score. It's almost like the update is like a text where you don't even have to unlock your phone to see the score. Its great!!! The update comes usually about a min after the goal is scored.

I thought this would be great place to post some of the apps everyone downloaded to their iPhone or iPod, especially for people who are late to the game in getting one, like me. I haven't had the time to type in everything I have and a little commentary. When I do find the time, I will get all the info out for you. Since I'm a beginner, I've only perused the free apps, but there is a lot of good stuff out there for free, including games.

I have brought down countless apps, some stay but most see the inside of my trash can.

There are 2 apps I have actually paid for:

Colorsplash
http://www.pocketpixels.com/ColorSplash.html

Shovebox
http://www.wonderwarp.com/shovebox/

Shovebox was free in the Macheist bundle and the developers lowered the price of the companion app to $1.99 for a limited time and I grabbed it.... I wish I could say I used it all the time but EverNote does pretty much the same thing and is free:

I have this and its great if you like to hear your sports talk.

http://www.macworld.com/appguide/app.html?id=99893

I thought i paid .99 but its still well worth the 1.99 price tag. For me i am able to get WfAN here in NY any where i go!! Also it has National/Canada and other international sports radio.

If anyone wants me to search for a particular station i would be more than happy!!

for your wooters out there

I use eBuddy, it's the best free msn messenger app I've tried for the iPhone, and with the constant updates being released it only keeps getting better.

Siri is still not available in Canada, bastards.

here is a good read about it anyway:

http://www.9to5mac.com/58260/siri-technology-allegedly-a-big-part-of-ios-5/

A year ago, Apple bought Siri, a virtual personal assistant startup that had released a very cool iPhone app. The Siri team and technology are now said to be a big part of iOS 5. The use of Siri’s artificial intelligence and assistance technology is said to be deeply integrated into the OS for all the different services offered. And the team is now putting the finishing touches on the elements that will be demoed at WWDC, we hear. This tech may also be opened to developers for use in third-party apps — though that information isn’t quite as concrete.
